This cloisonné features Honohon and Nagoya Castle for the Asian Games version, Uzumin and the shachihoko
for the Asian Para Games version, and the Aichi Prefecture flower, the Japanese iris.
Shibori ware from Shitabo Town, Ama City, Aichi Prefecture, is known as “Owari Shippo.” Renowned for its
high technical skill, it is also certified as a Traditional Crafts designated by the Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry.
Each piece is handmade by artisans at the kiln, so no two are exactly alike.
Enjoy this one-of-a-kind Aichi-Nagoya 2026 commemorative shibori piece alongside your viewing
experience.
